Jennie Garth Has No-Nonsense Response When Asked About Working With Dan Schneider

Jennie Garth Has No-Nonsense Response: Jennie Garth has been rather forthright about her distaste for discussing her business dealings with Dan Schneider, a former Nickelodeon executive. Renowned for her appearance in the legendary series “Beverly Hills, 90210,” Garth was most known for her co-starring role with Amanda Bynes in the WB sitcom “What I Like About You,” which ran from 2002 to 2006 and was co-created by Schneider.

“I don’t want to talk about Dan Schneider ever again in my life.” Garth’s response to a recent Hollywood Reporter inquiry about her collaboration with Schneider was remarkably blunt and short. This firm position shows her determination to avoid talking about or thinking about her relationship with the producer in the future.

With the release of his five-part documentary series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” Schneider has found himself in the middle of controversy. The series reveals claims of verbal abuse and a toxic work environment on the sets of Schneider’s teen-oriented shows, such as “Drake & Josh” and “Zoey 101.”

Schneider acknowledged the claims in a video interview with BooG!e, a former “iCarly” actress, and apologized for his behavior, acknowledging that he had been impatient, arrogant, and disrespectful in the past. Recognizing the need of self-reflection and taking responsibility, he extended his apologies to anyone impacted by his actions.

Even though Garth avoided talking about Schneider, she had much nicer things to say about her former co-star Amanda Bynes. Though she was referenced in “Quiet on Set,” Bynes opted not to be a part of the series. Garth has spoken highly of Bynes, saying that she loves her very much and would be happy to see her again if the chance presented itself.
