In a Schiaparelli Lobster Skirt, Zendaya stole the show.
The settlement of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes has put the fashion of promo tours back on track. Zendaya, a style queen renowned for her daring and never-boring outfits, is leading the comeback. Zendaya attracted attention when she stepped out on Sunday to promote Dune at Comic-Con Experience São Paulo in Brazil, wearing a monochromatic Schiaparelli outfit from the brand’s Spring-Summer 2024 catwalk show. Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dalí collaborated with a lobster dress in 1937; the sea monster couture had an ivory plunging collared top and a slinky, ruched cream maxi skirt featuring a 3-D fabric lobster. Artist Law Roach made fun of it by calling it a “sandworm” about the imaginary monsters found in Dune.
Zendaya emphasized her pink cheeks, luscious lips, and feathery lashes with a slicked-back wet hairdo and luminous radiance. Her winter white costume included optic white pointed-toe heels and diamond stud earrings.
In addition to her talent for fashion, Zendaya’s personal life is well known, especially her partnership with her lover, Tom Holland. Holland explained why he appreciates Zendaya’s acting coaching in a recent interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, citing her honesty as crucial. Holland highlighted the couple’s dedication to maintaining the privacy of their love relationship in June, characterizing it as something holy and distinct from their employment. He says they don’t feel compelled to share it with the world, highlighting how private their connection is.
