Dua, the skincare brand founded by Dua Lipa and Augustinus Bader, is expanding its physical retail presence with its first standalone boutique.
On Saturday, the brand, officially known as Dua Powered by Augustinus Bader Science, will open a 215-square-foot store next to Augustinus Bader’s Palais-Royal boutique in Paris.
The new location follows a successful pop-up takeover of the Augustinus Bader store from May 27 to June 14. Before that, Dua launched a temporary corner at London’s Selfridges from May 14 to 27, which has since become a permanent fixture in the department store.
“Both the pop-up and the permanent place have been very successful,” said Charles Rosier, cofounder and chief executive officer of Augustinus Bader. He noted that the Paris pop-up exceeded expectations, attracting significant crowds and demonstrating strong demand for a dedicated Dua destination.
According to Rosier, lines formed during the first days of the Paris pop-up, with visitors arriving from various countries. That response ultimately led the company to establish a permanent boutique for the brand. Located behind the Augustinus Bader store on Rue de Beaujolais, the Dua boutique has its own entrance and staff and occupies what was previously an Augustinus Bader treatment room.
Dua by AB currently offers three products: the Balancing Cream Cleanser, Supercharged Glow Complex, and Renewal Cream. The streamlined lineup reflects the efficient skincare routine favored by Lipa herself. As the brand’s chief creative officer, Lipa is involved in everything from product formulation to the creative direction.
The formulas feature TFC5, Augustinus Bader’s signature ingredient, and are designed for younger skin that does not require the same level of intensive renewal associated with the brand’s more mature-skewing products. The range focuses on supporting the skin barrier and maintaining long-term elasticity, helping Dua appeal to a younger audience.
Products are priced between $40 and $80, while the three-piece set is the brand’s best-selling offering. Dua also operates its own e-commerce platform.
“With this brand, we really target the 18-to-35-year-old segment,” Rosier said.
The company is already considering expanding Dua’s retail footprint into additional markets. Rosier identified the U.S. as a potential future destination, noting its importance to Augustinus Bader and the broader beauty industry.
For now, however, the focus remains on Paris. Rosier described the new boutique as a natural next step for the brand, saying the physical presence is expected to help accelerate Dua’s continued growth.
