Bottega Veneta has appointed Matteo Caoduro its global head of PR and community, a new role within the brand’s communication department based at its Milan headquarters.
Effective Wednesday, Caoduro will report to Emilie Leblanc, global marketing and communication director, who joined the fashion house in January.
Caoduro will be tasked with leading Bottega Veneta’s global press relations and community activities, leveraging the experience he honed at Karla Otto, where he most recently was vice president communications. During his seven-year tenure at the agency, Caoduro advised leading international fashion and luxury brands across global communications, media and corporate strategy and talent engagement.
Prior to Karla Otto, Caoduro held PR and marketing positions at Dolce & Gabbana, where he worked across international markets and brand initiatives, as well as at Dsquared2 and communications agency Smith-Petersen.
Leblanc also stepped into a new role at Bottega Veneta, picking up responsibilities previously handled by Thierry Conrad Reutenauer, who moved over to Loewe as global communications director late last year.
Bottega Veneta’s corner office is in transition, as parent Kering in July zeroed in on veteran beauty executive Romain Spitzer to succeed former chief executive officer Bartolomeo Rongone, who exited the brand to join Moncler Group as CEO earlier this year.
In his new Milan-based role effective Tuesday, Spitzer reports to Kering CEO Luca de Meo, who has laid out plans to double business from Bottega Veneta’s non-leather goods categories under creative director Louise Trotter. The designer is expected to reveal her spring 2027 collection for the brand on Sept. 26 during Milan Fashion Week.
