Blake Lively is stepping back into the spotlight just in time for the holiday party season. The actor made a glamorous appearance in New York City on November 3, attending the launch of jeweler Brent Neale’s holiday capsule collection at Majorelle on the Upper East Side.

For the occasion, Lively chose a striking midnight-blue sequin minidress from Chanel’s Fall 1994 collection. The vintage strapless design featured a delicate scalloped neckline resembling flower petals, while black satin bows running down the fitted bodice added a playful finishing touch.

She completed the look with a black leather Chanel bucket bag, Christian Louboutin Bis Un Bout pumps featuring transparent panels and ankle straps, and bold jewelry from Brent Neale, including statement earrings and rings. Her signature blonde hair was styled in glossy, side-swept Hollywood waves, delivering a look that could easily have stepped straight out of her Gossip Girl character Serena van der Woodsen’s wardrobe.

Known for her love of fashion and her hands-on approach to styling herself, Lively has never been one to shy away from an extravagant outfit. Her latest appearance also signals a return to the social spotlight after keeping a relatively low profile in recent months.

Her last major public appearance was at the FIFA World Cup final in July, where she opted for a much more relaxed outfit: an Argentina-inspired blue-and-white striped shirt, jeans, and a white tank top.

But when it comes to dressing for celebrations, Lively has always embraced a more adventurous approach. Her wardrobe is known for its vibrant colors, shimmering fabrics, dramatic embellishments, and playful accessories. From her famous Judith Leiber pepperoni-pizza clutch to the martini-shaped handbag she carried during the Another Simple Favor press tour, she has consistently demonstrated a flair for fashion with personality.

Her style history also includes colorful Ashish tweed designs, sequined Stella McCartney denim, and standout vintage pieces, including a turquoise 1960s sequin dress worn to a Tiffany & Co. event. Even her holiday outfits last December covered a wide spectrum, from ethereal white ensembles to bold, festive red looks.

With this latest Chanel appearance, Lively is returning to the glamorous fashion territory she knows best. And with the holiday celebrations only beginning, her sparkling comeback may be just the first of many memorable style moments this season.
