ust get it done, I don’t understand why there is a delay on everything," demanded Emily Bungert to the extremely overworked Stefanie Skinner. Since the departure of Stephanie Voorhees, Skinner’s workload had tripled. Kelly, Emily, and Robyn were all barking orders at the poor girl. The partners were all particularly stressed because they had just returned from their trip to London.
While they were away producing shows and consulting for London Fashion Week, Kelly, Emily, and Robyn had all gotten a bit behind with their work back at the office. Not everything could possibly get done all at once, and Emily completely lost it with Stefanie Skinner. The back-and-forth eventually led to Skinner storming out in tears. “If you have to cry go outside” is Kelly Cutrone’s philosophy.
During the last days of London Fashion Week, People’s Revolution produced Jeremy Scott’s runway show. They were in charge of all aspects of the show- the models, hair and make-up, music, and lighting. Scott presented an avant-garde Flintstones themed collection. After the show, the team checked out what the other designers had to offer.
Back in New York, the next event was a store opening for Ina Men, a men’s consignment store. Emily and Stefanie settled their differences to work the soiree together. Editors mixed and mingled, while sipping on tequila. Then disaster struck, when the tequila ran out. What’s a party with no alcohol? Of course, people started to leave, and Emily was panicking. After a few phone calls to the supplier, the bar was finally restocked. Crisis adverted.
Sidebar: Kelly Cutrone went to a sex shop to buy a vibrator for her doctor’s receptionist. She also picked up Andrew Serrano, Robyn’s assistant, some lube. Later on, Kelly crashed Andrew Serrano’s blind date with her assistant, Andrew Mukamal.
