Uptown chic with a downtown sensibility, Thuy (pronounced twee) Diep’s Fall 2010 collection elegantly combined classic and modern elements. The omnipresent trends of New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 -- layering, metallics, draping, and fur -- reigned supreme at Thuy’s show.

Opulent silk and metallic designs were playfully layered to create a fresh appeal. Vibrant print dresses paired with unstructured peplum jackets kept the looks youthful. Lasso-like leather belts cinched in most of the outfits continuing the contemporary vibe.
The must-have accessory of the runway was fur forearm warmers that were twined with sumptuous sleeveless dresses. The stand out look of the show was a stunning copper metallic jacquard shift dress.
